EA Play Compensation and the silence from EA

A lot of people still have not received their EA Play compensation tokens and there has been zero communication outside of a post from EA stating everything is finished and nothing else needs to be done. Is it safe to assume at this point EA Play users are just not going to receive this compensation that was promised?
