Anti-Tank Mine bug.

I've had the exact same issue. It won't let me place the mine when I press R2 or it shows me placing it but I still have the same amount of mines in my inventory. I've found switching back to my primary firing a few rounds, and then switching back to the mines works about 50% of the time as a work around. 

is this why I cant drop a mine anywhere??? Stupid update screwed up a lot of things for me. I just place them anywhere at all

I have begun simply not playing the game when it puts me on defense because attacker wins every time now. It gives total advantage to the attacking team that has tanks when you can’t prepare with mines, i.e. defend. Not being able to place the mines before the tank gets there is unfair, unrealistic, and infuriating. You just get mowed down when trying to defend. EA MUST fix this or risk losing even more players due to their inability to make good decisions or maintain the functionality and competitiveness of the game. It seems every update doesn’t address old bugs and brings new ones.
