Constant disconnections to EA servers – unable to play any online game
Hello everyone,
I subscribed to EA Play Pro last month and was able to play EA FC 26 and Battlefield 6 without any issues on launch day.
However, since October 10, I’ve been experiencing constant disconnections every single time I join a match.
I receive a “Connection with EA Servers lost” message on EA FC 26 or “Unknown Error 1:85009S” on Battlefield 6, and then I’m kicked out of the game.
I’ve tried every possible fix suggested on the official EA support page, as well as multiple community workarounds found online (since there’s no official statement from EA), but nothing has worked so far:
- Custom DNS (OpenDNS, Cloudflare, Google)
- Windows Firewall bypass
- Verifying and repairing game files
- Flushing DNS
- Updating GPU drivers
- Updating BIOS, Chipset, and LAN/Wi-Fi drivers
- Using a mobile hotspot
- Testing both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections
- Safe boot (starting Windows without third-party services)
- Cloudflare Warp
- Reinstalling both EA FC 26 and Battlefield 6
The very last option would be to reset my entire PC, but there’s no guarantee that it will solve the issue.
I’m opening this thread to give more visibility to the problem, as many other players are experiencing the same issue.
The official response from moderators and EA Live Support has been: “Error is being investigated, please wait and check the forum for further notices.”
All opened tickets have been closed with a “No fix available” tag, and no compensation or refund for EA Play Pro has been offered.
It’s now been 10 days without an official update or a fix for this critical issue. As a paying customer, I feel really disappointed.
