Engineer assignment 1 repair vehicles isssue

The assignment 1 for beginners, repair vehicles is not tracking for me I have been stuck on the same numbers for the last two days. I primarily play engineer and it’s bugging me I can’t progress the class without doing this but I have spent entire games repairing vehicles. Does anyone have any fixes to this?
