Single game install directory

I recently got an ssd and I have installed my OS on it. I also want to install battlefield 4 on my ssd as it is my most played game. I really want the faster load times. But as you know, ssd's dont have the same amout of space you get in a hdd. (at least a budget friendly one). So I'm wondering if it is possible to install only battlefield 4 on my ssd without having to change my origin directory so every other game gets installed there too?

  • Hello,

i'm not 100% sure if this works but if you want, you can give it a try:

    1. Change the Origin Games directory to a directory on your SSD
    2. Reinstall Battlefield 4. Origin should now install the game in the new directory on your SSD.
    3. Change the Origin Game folder back to your default directory where the other games are installed.
    4. Start Battlefield 4 with the "bf4.exe" in the install directory on your SSD.

Please tell me if this works.

    Regards

I tried it and your solution worked for me. After installing bf4 in my ssd, i changed it back to the original directory and it gives a message saying that previously installed games will not be moved. Thanks for the advice. xp has been given and solution has been chosen. Cheers! :D
