Hey there! Some time after the release weekend it became almost impossible to play. When I try to launch it I get an EA Javelin Splash Screen with a progress bar, and it takes at least 30-40 minutes for the bar to progress, then the game launches successfully. It happens every time I try to play, the javelin process doesn't seem to use any of the processing power, RAM, nor does it download something. I've got only an hour of spare time nowadays and I really want to spend it playing BF6.
I tried verifying game files on steam, I tried updating the Javeling, I deleted it completely - made no difference.
My PC is fine, I play on overkill graphics, Win11 and NVidia drivers are up to date. I have a steam version of the game.
Any suggestions?
Season 1 release patch made no difference, unfortunately. How do I get a refund after 30 hours of playtime?
Have you tried to repair / reinstall it from the game's folder? I've done some of that, launched the anticheat as admin, did something else there, and I'm not sure what exactly, but something helped, and now it's all normal again :)
I have been trying everything you suggest for two weeks straight with no result, but today for some reason this issue did not appear: the loading bar was colored green instead of grey and was as fast as it was during the launch weekend. I will return here should the problem appear again.
