HELP!!
Hello. I cannot launch EA SPORTS FC 27 through Steam.
When I try to launch the game, I get this error:
“An unexpected error has occurred. Please restart the game. If the error persists, contact EA Help. (0xC0000005)”
Windows Event Viewer shows:
- Source: EA Javelin Anticheat
- Event ID: 1000
- Exception code: 0xC0000005
- fc27.exe exited unexpectedly.
I have already verified the game files through Steam, cleared the EA App cache, reinstalled EA Javelin AntiCheat, restarted my PC, and installed Windows updates.
We also found that eaanticheat.sys was missing. I removed EA AntiCheat using the official installer and installed it again. The installer reported “Install success”, but after restarting the PC, FC 27 still crashes with the same 0xC0000005 error.
Please help me identify the cause of this crash and check the Javelin AntiCheat logs. I would like to know if there is a known issue or a specific fix for this error.
