Zandvoort absolutely killed me. Good enough to qualify P4, but by the time the second stint hit the cars were flying past me.
It was way better before the patch; I would be able to gain a position or lose one or two when I qualified P7 - 9. Now I just lose positions like crazy in the race. I haven't changed anything with my driving style or setups. Quite maddening.
It's like this on most of the tracks, i got pole by over a * second in a Haas in Monaco on 110AI, they need to fix this.
- The patch increased AI speed around 3/4 tenths per track as average at 110. In some track they are stronger in comparison to the player IMHO (e.g. Monza they should be able to go under the 1:18 in Q) but the most are not.
One suggestion: leave Verstappen to the AI, he increases AI competitiveness of further +1/+2
About Q and R pace comparison I didn’t tested myself yet but it was the same in F1 22, around 2/3 click of difference over 100 AI. If I well remember it was more balanced in F1 2021/2020…On F1 22 the AI were pretty balanced. But it just doesn't work in this game. The main problem is that they are way too slow in quali. On 110 and I get into Q3 in AlphaTauri and pole by over a second on Monaco in a Haas, and I'm not even that good at the game, around 1 second off the E-sports guys in time trial.
