Collision detection needs a rework in ranked
There's just no point in playing ranked currently with the lack of punishment for dirty racing.
It should be fairly obvious in telemetry that if we are both at near top speed and they turn harshly or break harshly miles from the breaking zone and a collision occurs that it was not a fair move.
Here's some example sceneries I have lived
1. On pole? hit off at T1 then auto reset into another crash, race over.
2. Overtaking on the DRS straight safely, hit into a wall, my race is done, -1 to -50 points.
3. Crashed into twice, no warnings all race as driving to avoid collisions, finish p4. 1 point in a silver lobby
4. A car with 15 seconds of penalties hits off 3 other cars and and has 15 seconds, stay behind to avoid potentially being murdered too, break checked and off my front tires go.
What is the incentive here, seems like its only dirty racers with "A license rating" (really that should not be earnable in single player!) that get to finish.
25% races are a waste of my life when I just get taken out every race.
Great game, great new tyre physics, shame its a de facto singleplayer for now.
