    @tn132 I'd say you're just as unlucky as Daniel Ricciardo was in 2017 when he had eight mechanical failures.

    Just turn the feature off after a certain number. I myself do this after two or three failures depending on the season length.

@DinaatioNope, only the durability upgrades matter, and only matter to the minor faults, race-ending ones are completely scripted, for both you and Ai.

All I’m saying is that the game tells you otherwise. It suggests that for example Powertrain and Chassis upgrades (pictures linked) have an effect related to minor faults.

    @Dinaatio Yea I know, it's probably designed to sound like that for immersion purposes, but in reality it's completely unrelated to the actual issue.
