Notably, I refunded it after seeing that they left in bugs from last year's game and the other inexcusable bugs that made it into release.
Unlike you, I decided to NOT be a part of the problem, and did NOT contribute to the message that this behavior is acceptable. If next year's game isn't full of the same disgraceful bugs that this one is, then you can thank me.
What you're doing and promoting won't lead to anything other than the same disappointment, year after year. Good job!
Right but If you've returned the game and you won't buy 24.... it begs the question why you're still on the patch related forums telling people 'i told you so'?
You're using everyone else's downfall to make yourself feel better, you're telling others they're the problem while making out you're smarter than everyone here because you saw it coming and got a refund.

Funny thing is... you apparently know so much more than everyone here...yet you still bought it.
You probably still bought it for the same reasons all of us here did despite knowing EA's reputation, yet you're making out you're a step ahead of us somehow.
Nobody here is defending EA's reputation, not one person here has and no one here trusts them.
People bought this because they're huge F1 fans, its the same with any sports franchise they put out.
You're not saying anything that people don't already know, it's all stuff that's been regurgitated on the internet for years, yet you're puffing your chest out as if you've done something.
You know people are annoyed and you're just here to stoke the fire in hope it's then aimed at EA.
If you wanna follow the forums to check if its fixed cool, but why are you within a patch discussion thread (when you don't own the game anymore) telling people they should've got a refund when they had the chance...c'mon man.
I did buy it, and I refused to play even a single minute of it until I got an idea of the quality so as not to risk my ability to refund it.
When the defects were made known, in particular the tyre strategy bug still being present from last year, I waited to see if the first patch was acceptable.
it was not, so I followed through with my plan to return it.
I never said that I won’t buy next year’s game. I won’t commit to buying it regardless of quality. If I do purchase it, I’ll do so with the same intent on refunding it again if EA hasn’t learned the right lessons.
I continue to visit the forums to see if the Inexcusable state of this game has been fixed. If what I’ve said has been regurgitated so much, then why are people still falling for the same behavior every year?

As it is, your comment and its sarcastic overtone adds nothing to the thread and ain't helpful for the community. I'm sure you can see that.
Trekari said his piece, got to hear it from those with a different take, and has mellowed out and adjusted to a more respectful tone since then, even if still combative. The argument you're rekindling is from 4-5 days ago, and no one's better with this revival.
Everyone's welcomed to discuss the current state of the game and the broader, problematic aspects of an annualized franchise in the games industry - and can even choose to be combative on their take as long as they do so respectful. This kind of sarcasm, however, hardly, if ever, achieves that.
Just my two cents. I'll happily expand on that via PM if anyone's interested.
