Was the Goals section working for you on the previous patch, or has it never been unlocked for you?

- 2 years ago@Ultrasonic_77 PC platform, and after the update the goals section worked only 1 day, but yesterday was not.

Do not always so surprised as if this were new, with me the f1 world goals are also suddenly locked since 1.08 and in the forum there are enough entries about it but there are no answers.

Yes, and for some they couldn't even unlock it in the first place. My guess is that because this happens to some but not others it's not at all obvious what is causing this and therefore how to go about preventing or fixing it. That's why I was asking for more info in case it can help in this regard.

+ I noticed a weird thing, when I play, and pause the game, or I use a flashback, the first 3-4 sec the FFB very light, and 3-4 sec later going back to normal, when I playing again.
This happenig everytime on Fanatec CSL DD base.
I haven't experienced this in other games.

@RobbyJr24Yes it’s by design. Some people use very high FFB. It’s light at restart as a safety thing. So player isn’t taken by surprise and have the wheel snap out off their hands causing injury
Jarno uses high FFB compared to his teammates

I think THIS pretty much sums up the state of the game right now....

On ps5 g923 Is completly broken
Ffb and vibrations are Crazy even if you set them to 0

I’ve been getting these random vibrations on my controller on Xbox Series X. It feels the same as wheel spin or lock up but it’s happening through out the race on certain spots (really noticeable on the straights). I’ve tried everything I can to make sure it’s not a problem on my end, but it seems like it’s another bug in the game. It only happens in races. Never in quali or tt.

@Meza994How high up in the chain does someone need to be to express a simple apology? I could've tagged every EA and CM username on this forum, and my point would remain valid. Raphii happens to be here the most, so I tagged them.
What exactly is preventing anyone from EA saying as much?
Pride? Arrogance?
By all means, continue to make excuses for their behavior. They clearly need more.
When you were told as a child that you should apologize for something, did you tell the adult in question that their criticism wasn't "constructive?" I was raised to apologize when appropriate. Shame on me for expecting the same basic human behavior from the companies I do business with. - ScarDuck142 years agoLegend@Trekari No one is making excuses for them. But you’re aiming your anger at EA employees. Who like most of us do what our bosses tell us.
@TrekariYou are just raging at community managers from the publisher.. If you dont see why they are not to blame for the problems of the game then its up to you..
Those who are to blame for a problem should apologize, what you are doing here is the same as going to a grocery store and screaming at the cashier because of higher prices.. - Ultrasonic_772 years agoHero
Realistically I think apologies for game performance not matching people's expectations generally doesn't happen (have you ever seen one?) for two reasons:
- The bad PR would be huge. As in, look everyone, this game is so bad they even publicly apologised for it.
- If a product is admitted to be defective you're then getting into potentially tricky territory re. refunds.
As far as I'm concerned nobody should expect one and it wouldn't make any difference if it happened anyway. Also, do you think anyone working on the game is happy that there are significant ongoing issues? Of course they aren't.
This thread really isn't the right place to be discussing this though, as it's detracting from people trying to highlight new issues following the latest update.

@Meza994Where have I suggested that Raphii is responsible for the coding of this game?
They are a "Community Manager" right? Seems to me like that job would at least be one of the people who could actually communicate some kind of remorse for the outcome of the game.
As I said in my other post you took exception to: ANYONE at EA could come here and offer a simple apology. NONE of them have done so.
Not Raphii. Not any other EA-branded name here. Nobody.Edit: @Ultrasonic_77 Multiple companies within the past handful of years have released huge public statements about their failure to deliver a quality product. Cyberpunk 2077 and LotR: Gollum come to mind immediately. That's certainly one extreme of the spectrum in issuing an apology, but we don't even get the complete opposite end of just a simple "We know we've let you down and we'll do better."
It doesn't have to be on twitter. It doesn't have to be a press conference. Failing to express the sentiment at all? Not ok.

Agree with everything else you saidI don't know about Gollum, but the Cyber Punk case was also associated with mass refunds and removal from sale. F1 23 is also not anywhere close to as broken as Cyber Punk was.

@Trekari Still the same, screaming at the cashier for a product thats gotten more expensive.. Scream at Codemasters for doing it bad, EA is a mere publisher
But in the end @Ultrasonic_77 is right with what he says but do as you feel is right
- 2 years ago
@Ultrasonic_77If you don't know about Gollum, I suggest staying blissfully ignorant of it at all costs. :D
It was awful. Bad enough that Daedalic Entertainment closed their development studio entirely. Metacritic score of 39/100 for PC. Likely headed to a 'Worst Game of the Year" award, although Redfall is making a strong argument for itself too.@Meza994 You should try reading my comments and then responding. I don't know how many times I have to express you why I tagged Raphii. (Who again is a CM - not a 'cashier.') You also need to work on your analogies.
Where is the "Codemaster" place I'm supposed to direct my comments to? Last I checked, this was the F1 23 forum.
