Hey everyone, how's it going? I wanted to find out if anyone else is experiencing this issue: ever since the last update, I've been dealing with severe tire wear regardless of the setup I use. I'm playing in career mode, and in the second season, it's nearly impossible to use the soft tires for a one-stop strategy. As if the cars being much faster than mine wasn't enough, the tire wear in this second season is insane. I had to drop from level 94 to 91 and still, the AI is much quicker, and tire wear is impossible to manage. Can any of you provide some guidance, or is this a game bug? Thanks!!

My tyre deg is still good. I use my own setup and can still manage S/M for most of races while AI cars use M/H strategies. Only time I really struggle is Losail, that track seems to eat my tyres like crazy.
(I play career modes with AI around 90 and 50% race distance) So, dude, I think my issue lies in the brake pedal. Since I don't have any sensitivity in my left hand, I usually play with ABS on and press the brake pedal to the max in most corners. It can only be that. The thing is, this insane wear and tear only started happening after the last update. I've watched a few tutorials, many of which were recommended on the forum, but very little or almost nothing has changed. My wear and tear in some sessions reaches almost 5% per lap - which makes the soft strategy unfeasible most of the time. I play the race at 25% length, and in this second season of the career mode, I've lowered the difficulty level to 91. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this excessive wear and tear issue?
Seriously, EA are doing their best to ruin a series I enjoy.
My game is a blurry mess on PS5. I just played F1 2021 and its so clean and vibrant looking compared. I've tried F1 23 with HDR on, HDR off, toggled performance mode, change Gamma settings but it's an eyesore for me.
Tried to get a refund from PlayStation but it's easier & quicker to learn to drive a real F1 car than deal with them.
I'm going back to the old games. Again!
- @ChorizoMachine I agree. Full of bugs, they'll release update after update, and there will still be things left to fix until the time they stop and launch F1 24 with the same bugs. The AI flies on the first lap, night races have fog, insane tire wear, impossible to complete the Qatar practice, unfair crossplay, the AI is hardly ever penalized, and so on.
It's easier for Massa to be declared the champion of 2008 than for the game to have its bugs fixed. - @imaspes Agree mate. I won't be buying another game made by EA Sport. They won't give a damn but it makes me feel better - been burned too many times now.
- @ChorizoMachine They Just want you tô make microtransactions.
In ranked, the timer now keeps resetting to 60 seconds. When someone joins or leaves. Is this new?

@imaspes
if you have an issue with front tyres, I'd suggest to change brake bias towards the rear.
Current setup options have front-biased brake config, 63 is too much front for my driving style so I usually change it to 53-56. Maybe it will help you, too.UPDATE: You can also change brake config in Options/Controls. Maybe you can find a fine balance setting up Deadzone, Linearity and Saturation in Calibration menu.

This does not really have something to do with someone joining / leaving. The host of the lobby has the ability to change a setting and reset the countdown. Sometimes this actually smart to have a bit more time to join and allow more people to join.
