Community ManagerDoes anyone know a way to save the controller settings?
Currently I don't want to start the Steam version of it, because it will update if I start it and I don't want to lose my painstakingly created settings.
@EA/Codemaster: (if any dev with a bad conscience reads this) at least have the backbone to admit you messed it up and provide solutions, e.g. by:
- Revoking the patch so that the game can at least be used again without deleting controller settings
- advising how to save those settings
- Just doing your job
Any chance we get someone of the dev team here? Or even someone in charge?
It took most of us a long time to tweak the settings. Now you have to start over like everyone else, it sucks.
And no I'm not buying the next one and wasting my money on the same mistakes.
@EA_Vendcera couldn’t you simply rollback to 1.10 meanwhile?

@seichrotierer Due to the way you phrased it, "a way to save the controller settings", @ScarDuck14 took it as you inquiring if the patch broke the game in a way no new controller profiles can be saved. You're talking past each other.
I get that you're asking how to backup the game config files from the Steam folders, but even then at first I thought you were having trouble creating a new device profile too.
Back off a bit. ScarDuck had already raised this issue internally with EA long before your post, and made his thoughts about the here and now of this franchise quite clear in this very topic a few pages ago. You're on the same side.
