@EA_Vendcera wrote:Hi everyone,
thank you all for your candid feedback. We've forwarded and are investigating the reported issues and will let you know once we got an update!
I also fully understand that it's frustrating when stuff breaks and things don't work out. However, please keep it constructive and remember that the developers are human.
If you run into any new specific bugs after this patch, please create a post with as many details as possible in the bug report section. Or search if one thread about it already exists, like the unequal car performance here for example.
-VendceraYou clearly have zero knowledge of Codemasters’ REPUTATION about patches that break the game, patches that have zero importance like things for season pass while FFB on TM still is no bueno, and let me tell you that the controller settings reset isn’t the first time also. And within the 23 release this is already the second time the equal cars is busted.
if you really know the reputation of the devs, you’d understand. Yes they are human, but even a donkey doesn’t hit a stone twice. Well, it’s the same old youknowwhat, just a different release.
and the community is FED UP with this failing policy and way of working. Every year is the same and when CM just is oblivious or simply ignorant, i don’t know, but it really seems they have gone too far this time accordinh to all the replies.
i wish them luck with restoring any trust and faith ever again, IMHO it really seems like CM has f’ed up 1 time too many this time.
and I don’t need to explain that once trust is broken, it’s almost impossible to restore. ESPECIALLY towards CM with their horrendous reputation.
something serious had to change, and the higher ups at EA have to take drastic measures. Or else that boycot will actually be coming reality and it’s bo sales forward anymore.
trust needs to be restored, and if nothing is done, well good luck. So take that up with the bosses at EA if you want F1 to succeed any longer.
for now you’re doomed to fail. EPIC!
- zombie1823 years agoSeasoned Veteran@EA_Vendcera we are also human and we have paid a high price for something that still does not work and gets worse with every "patch", there is NO excuse for that
- SirusVR3 years agoRising Adventurer@Ho3n3r I think they have bigger problems to fix at this point other than increasing the lap by 1 lap. But hey they will probably fix that first... 🤦♂️
So am I right with the intencion, that also the setups have changed or have been deleted? Since yesterday my cars performance is so bad i can't even compete with the worst drivers in my friendslist
- marcusm20223 years agoNew Traveler@EA_Vendcera We understand that everyone makes mistakes, but come on. The game must have a perfect presentation like the reality of F1, both cars and tracks. That's why I don't see any reason for EA sports - codemaster not to update the tracks too, that would help me a lot, and as for the cars, why not update the cars according to the track, that is, each track will have a different car or more , when selecting the track, the car you were playing in would already be updated, for example Monza with Ferrari and so on, DRS has to be this one, but realistically too, the opening is very small, different from the real F1, please do it that.
- @zombie182 Don’t forget that TESTING patches is also human and should always be standard to eliminate those human mistakes.
So the they’re only human attempt was a good try, but not something to regain any trust or understanding EA! Just found that in an online lobby, the SC came out, it was set to cinematic, and whilst Ai took over, the whole grid was suddenly changed. Nobody in pit or whatever, suddenly front runners were at the back, lap behind for nothing.
yep, good job!
- SirusVR3 years agoRising Adventurer@Iceman038-NL Something is definitely off.. I was on the last lap in a ranked game and the AI like took over my car and slowed me down and I never let off the accelerator. I got passed by 3 cars right at the end and I had no control over the car. 🤷♂️ At this point I would be happy with the putting the game back the way it was before this last patch.
So frustrating. - Trekari3 years agoRising Hotshot
I don't think so, Tim.
Your "developers" continue to release patches claiming to fix things that are not fixed, and were clearly never tested and confirmed fixed, all whilst telling us that the drops on our faces are just from the rain.
You want us to remember that people are human beings? How about you start acting like WE are human beings. Like WE actually paid for your salaries. Like WE deserve an apology for how EA treats US.
You clearly don't test your patches at all. That isn't a "human" problem, that's a "corporate greed and we don't care whether our customers are happy problem."
TEST YOUR ALLEGED PATCHES AND STOP MAKING US DO YOUR JOBS. This "patch" has broken the game more than its fixed it, Red flags at race start, Safety Car at race start, cars getting DSQd from formation lap and getting drive through penalties. Equal car performance isnt equal as well as tyre wear AGAIN. I've had to suspend activities for my league as a result of this and it has upset my sponsors that help allow my league to run.
