I have a young niece and nephew who also get excited about Fortnite skins and the like. Video games were a much cheaper and simpler form of entertainment when we were their age!
What's crazy is, all those "Life" features and sport cars they have already put into the game would appeal more to VR owners.
Being able to walk around your room and get a closer look at all of your things, instead of just your 2D TV.... maybe even a grid walk...ah let me stop, I might be giving them ideas. 😆
But yes, that is what was cool for GT7... all that hard work they put in for yeeears regarding in car rendering/interiors, was able to immediately pay off with the addition to VR. It would be the same for F1. All the hard work they have put into the garages, tracks, cars, etc would pay off with folks getting a new upclose perspective....a new appreciation of what has been there all this time.
- @MagalhaVoa GT7 on VR2 is awesome!!
Hope to see F1 on VR2 soon ☹️ - @RobbieAlatorre Don’t keep your hope up, won’t happen anytime soon

@ha6hk3w77mwjThat the spirit… Now your getting it 🙄😂
Dude I used to post over on codemasters with optimism. And the occasional mega rant. Which have here also on occasions. Pretty much all the same things you guys have but for other features that should be in the game. But over time I learned no one who makes decisions cares what I want 😤😌
So my posts changed and I started posting more to help people make the most out of their game. Before I even knows what a champion was EA asked me to be one.. I didn’t want to simp for the man. But at the same time I thought maybe I’ll get my voice heard. Surprisingly I get my voice heard more than I ever thought I would🥰. Whether they act on what they hear is obviously a different story 😂
- @ScarDuck14 I know that nobody at EA cares what i want, you just hope that if enough people are loud enough over the same feature they might listen. Hope is the last thing to die.
Now in all fairness if you gave me a million dollars but i had to bet it on yes or no wheter psvr2 support is going to happen somewere down the line i would put all the money on no and wouldn’t even be nerveus.
So i know it’s not gonna happen to be honest, sad part for me is i played every F1 game sinds 2010 and every year F1 is my most played game. This year i can’t even buy it, simply because after gt7 i don’t want to race on a flatscreen anymore and it makes no sense buying a game you know you’re not gonna play. - ScarDuck142 years agoLegend
@ha6hk3w77mwjIf VR takes off to the point where it’s more the norm rather than the exception then developers will obviously cater for it. I think support for the F1 series will come next year.
VR like 3DTV is just one of those things where although it’s superior tech compared to a 2D Tv. For whatever reason the masses still prefer watching standard tvI mean they have been saying everyone will soon be using VR since the 90s
- @ScarDuck14 Treu but it’s not like vr is the norm on pc (the user base is proberly bigger than psvr2)
I’m not expecting it, but the last little chance for psvr support (in case of an embargo for ea and codemasters was rumored a few weeks ago)
There's a lot of buzz around the playstation showcase later today and a lot of talk about PSVR2. Imagine tapping into all that excitement and then your own game launches in a few weeks time with a VR mode for playstation. It would have been huge.
Just another reason why they have missed a massive opportunity to get this into players hands now. If the rumours are true there could be VR versions for half life alyx, god of war, the aliens game and many many more so if they release it for PSVR2 next year yeah sure it will sell more copies but it will be lost in a sea of other popular titles by then.
