F1 Ranked division season end recode??

Question

If the current Season 1 Ranked game ends with Elite Division, the next Season 2 will reset and start over at Bronze. Will the Elite Rank achieved in Season 1 be recorded, or will it just disappear and start over? For example, the previous season was elite. I wonder if it will remain on record.

I can't answer your question about it being saved or not but according to PJTierney, if you reach Elite you will only get reset to Gold for the next season, not all the way down to Bronze.
