I have exactly the same issues with a T150 wheel, i've spent over 4 hours at Bahrain trying to get round the first corner and no matter what assists i use or any of the different setups recommended online or copied from time trial, the car will not accelerate smoothly out of the corner unless the wheels are inline, the car fishtails off the track. As for the helpful advice for getting good, I'm 70 and started my sim racing on REVS the first of the Geoff Crammond masterpieces in 1985, unfortunately I no longer have the same hand to eye co-ordination and my fingers are not as nimble as they used to be, I've had no problems with any of the previous iterations and I'm not a serious player I only want to have fun
@OldFart70Yup I was there on OG Grand Prix and my fingers are stiff and my eyesight is Bonky.
Not a case of gitting. Gud. I have no time for elitists. But it’s a case of finding the right settings and setups that best suit you. It’s a pain especially if you don’t have the time to spend messing about with them. But they are the key to getting the most out off the game. Adjusting FOV in camera settings will help massively.
I can’t help with wheel settings as I’m a controller player.
Don’t use TT setups as for the time being no one really knows what the best setup’s are and those leading the TT leader boards are elites.
