Game Version 1.0.1 after 1.08 patch?

Quick question - just need to ask what the game version number is for everyone?

I'm on Steam and after patch 1.08, mine says 1.0.1012607. Is this correct? I've verified my files but it's saying everything's in order, and I felt I should ask before I started a new career save (previous one was ruined by several issues that are presumed to be now fixed).

Asking in here because my post in the official patch thread got swallowed up a bit. An official answer would be great @EA_rephii perhaps even @ScarDuck14 could help?

    I'm not a 'professional game developer' that gets to release a dumpster fire and still get paid like some people, but perhaps the game version should accurately reflect the patch version.

    I wish I COULD go back to 1.01, then at least I could play it in VR
