Is saving tyres in Qualifying bugged? I can only use old softs in races.

So I have a My Team career set to medium session length and full qualifying, most qualifying sessions I manage to keep 1 or even 2 sets of Softs untouched but when I get into the race, the strategies...

I have not had this happen to me, but I haven't had a lot of time to play since the most recent patch.

For the most part the tyres do not get returned and should be available in the race... however the "Q3" tyre (the right most soft) does so if that is the one your saving that's why it's disappearing.
