It's impossible to fight against ranked boosters

Just lost an elite spot to a booster with 2 friends and a dummy account helping.

They can win insane amounts way more consistently than a legit player and you can't do anything.

In game reporting is useless, platform report will at most restrict online access after many weeks.

How can an exploit this severe be allowed while EA just defends these guys by making it impossible to actually report and ban them?

  • @jpedro6464 Wondering why you are trying to KEEP your Elite rating literally ruining others, slower racers, hopes?..

If/when I reach Elite I'll pay back the community by participating and loosing to others! Ranked is so insane hard and penalizing that we NEED to cooperate.

    Aren't you agree?

I'm not trying to keep it because it would be my first time there, 5 weeks of fair promotions to them get beated by a booster

And about your last take I partially agree, in any division you need to race fairly with everyone, this already helps a lot, some players let faster ones go by (myself included), some prefer to fight while still keeping it on the track, I think it's about clean racing, possibly the best way to help the community

  • I'm agree about clean racing while cannot agree that it alone helps.

The points system is unfair to slower racers - it would be virtually impossible for them to reach higher divisions if ones with Elite would continue battling (!) for points while having the Elite Racer trophy already.

Just imagine - I've started 19th of 20 players then reached 13th place of 17 active (3 were DNF) and with just one warning (I was rammed into the wall from the behind just to get that warning!) I've got.... +4 points! Similar unlucky race - FULLY CLEAN - 20 total, 19th in Qualy and I'm 14th of 16 to get... +3 points.

As you see even DNF won't helps, the percentage from the bottom/rop what mostly matters (that's why I've got more points for 17-13=4 places from the bottom even with warning comparing to the 16-14=2 places from the bottom while being absolutely clean).

I have even worse example of fully clean race: 15 total, 12th of 14 and got... -17 😉 Yeah, minus seventeen for being clean and persistent, gaining three places with just one DNF from the behind...

So how would it be possible to compete?..

If one needs real competition there is an eSport system. The Ranked should be the choice - either you get many points by getting higher places or by racing more. Currently it is mainly about skills & luck which is unfair to vast majority.

Of course the points system overall is kinda broken, but because it's unfair as a whole. You get warnings for unfair reasons, someone DNFing you gets the same point loss as DNFing yourself. Obviously it's way harder for slower players, I had to grind to have descent pace but honestly it's expected, if you're at the back you will earn less points and that's it.

I learned through the weeks that clean surviving is better than positions, sometimes starting p15 of 20 would get me p10 with solid 50+ points, while understanding that if I'm slower of course I'm gonna earn less, it's one of the rare fair takes from the system
