Layoffs at Codies....

Calm down guys, it's just QA, none of the developers were fired. Indeed, the hope is that many have been added after the slightly mad studios were also merged and therefore more developers means that more things can be changed. An appeal that I am already making to EA/codies is: please abandon the old consoles. There's no point in continuing to release the game on old consoles, it would just create a mess with all the bugs due to the compromises you have to make to run the game on all these platforms.

@mikyesposto1 With WRC not being on old gen. I think it’s a safe bet that neither will F1 24. However still doesn’t make me confident 24 will be any better than this year.

@mikyesposto1 In F1 22 I liked the handling model but like most struggled facing the right way in low gears. David did his best to address the issue. But what he did do was to be ever present on here. Getting feedback on the struggles players from casuals to elites that used both Pad or wheel. also he wanted feedback on what we wanted and expected the handling to be. I posted two long posts listing to him issues good and bad controller players had. He to some degree he implemented everything I listed except for one thing. He took ownership of the mistakes in 22. Learned from them: Wasn’t to proud and actively ask the community and using his knowledge and know how and delivered an awesome handling model for both controllers and wheels. So no surprise it’s the best part of the game. Whereas those responsible for F1 world say they listened to the community. But none off us would have suggested the core mechanics off the game be a copy and paste from a looter shooter
