Logitech G923 Buttons and Rev Limiter

Sorry I’m not submitting a bug report because this website is rubbish and won’t let me send it after filling it in 4 times.

Since the latest update, the FFB has returned to the G923, but Trueforce is still working on it.

since the update, the Rev limiter on the hardware is no longer displaying or lighting up or whatever the technical term is and the bottom two buttons +/- and dial and enter buttons no longer function.

other games it’s perfectly fine on.

  • So after patch, G923 dial no longer works,  plus and minus no longer work,  LB and RB no longer work.

Anyone else experiencing the same issues.

Getting really sick of this nonsense.

Same for me, rev limiter doesn’t work and the bottom two buttons don’t either. FFB is back though

@Gaz4020 The bug report form is important because it makes the user disclose relevant information from the get go, like the platform they're on.

    I'm assuming you're on Xbox.

If that's so, then you won't be able to make use of those buttons and the RPM lights because the Trueforce api was disabled.

Microsoft has a hard limit on the number of buttons available on their Xbox wheels via the standard protocol. What Logitech does with their G923 is enable devs to have more buttons available through their Trueforce SDK.
Trueforce was the root of several unfortunate issues since the TF Audio feedback was introduced on the previous patch, so it looks like they've disabled it altogether for the time being.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I would have submitted a bug report, but literally tried 4 times and it wiped the form each time and I got annoyed.

@Gaz4020 it's ok. For months back in 2022, this site would only work on Microsoft Edge for me - no Chrome, no Firefox. It can be annoying at times.

Anyway I suggest you keep an eye on the Technical Issues board and the Updates one if you want to keep tabs on this issue. Unfortunately we're all a bit on the dark here about what's going on and what's on the horizon.
