Ranked points

I'm a gold 1 and just got 6th place in a ranked lobby of 14 cars and recieved 7 points? Can someone explain why that makes sense?

    @ScarDuck14 You are right, I just did a race and drove around staying within the limit and got 12th out of 16th and was +17 points.

@LiveBracelet94 Since patch track limits has been set too strict. It’s likely you’ve exceeded track limits a few times or more resulting in a loss off points
