Also, as said, I have the same issue on PC AND on XBOX F1 23, lowering vibration settings in game has no effect.
Well, turn the overall FFB setting down until you find it acceptable.
On Steam delete the hardware_settings_config.xml and verify Steam files.
Test using the default mappings for the G923, customise only when you are sure it works.
Disconnecting any controllers whilst playing is also recommended when using any wheel.

I'm playing on Microsoft Gamepass (PC and XBOX) and on PC I don't have any other controllers plugged in and both are turned off on XBOX. Sure I can tune down the over FFB but I don't want to loose the resistance when turning the wheel, I just want to lower curb and especially onroad effects.

Wheel would be the common factor, or the game.
That being said, not all Logitech owners have this specific issue.
Game Pass also common in this instance. So maybe the Game Pass version is the issue, this version had specific issues on older iterations (unique to it) too. I don’t recall anything like this though.

Ok some progress: I have lowered "audioeffects" in G Hub to 0 and then checked the box "apply settings in game" (which for some reason greys-out audioeffects) and now the ingame settings seem to have an effect, I lowered curbs to 0 and there was no rumble anymore when going over the curbs.
However there is still some very annoying kinda rattling noise/vibration when driving in highspeeds and the purposing effect starts to kick in, you know when you also hear the pff pff pff on the TV, the worst is probably in Las Vegas, it's almost constant vibration on the straights. I thought that this are the onroad effects but now that I'm positive the ingame settings work, this seems to be caused by some hidden setting which can't be adjusted (I've everything set to 0, including onroad). Any way to tune this down?
The is where I am too!
I need to check ghub again.
But at audio effects at 1 vibration and trueforce is instandly at a maximum. And I set it to 0 there's almost nothing at all...
Someone needs to fix this bug now!
