It's silly to expect them to return AI to how it was in 2022 when so many prefer it now.

I don't mind much probably I like AI-2022 but I can live with this one. I just need to avoid stupid kamikaze attack because I know AI would always let me win but if I make realistic attack without pushing/risking too much (like in real life with fear for real consequence) the game is okay.

You can ask for the future (not this 2023 game, maybe 2024) that they place a slide with AI aggressivity from 1 to 5 or similar
