Also for EA/Codie to admit 100-110 needs changing does that not mean all difficulties are screwed up too?
Only if they're on a linear scale. If it's exponential, with the trailing end ramping up in whatever parameters the AI difficulty settings entail, they could fine tune that while keeping the rest (1-100) the same.

- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@matty0blobber So they are addressing this in the next patch. But knowing codies always go from one extreme to other. Expect Ai over 100 to be unplayable 😂

@ScarDuck14Oh yeah for sure, there's a saying; 'keep trying to please everyone and you'll end up pleasing nobody'.
I'm sure It'll somehow effect every difficulty 1-110 by accident 😛- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@matty0blobber Nothing would surprise me. But knowing how they will increase the difficulty it shouldn’t. But we probably notice a huge difference from 100-101. So anyone currently playing on 101-105 will find the game unplayable as they won’t be able to find a level suitable. Anyone who plays 106+ can just drop it down a few clicks

@mariohomohFrom what i've seen everyone playing this year has had to up the difficulty to some degree, the average is up this year across the board for every track.
https://www.f1laps.com/resources/Holy smokes at the people in that article and some of you guys who are racing at 70-90 AI difficulty!!! WTF??? I haven't played this year's game, but I'm playing F1'2021 right now(half way through the career) and if I turn the AI up to anything past 60, I have ZERO chance at placing first! They'll pretty much smoke me.
Are the AI easier in '23 than in '21 or am I just SUUUUUPER slow lol???
- matty0blobber3 years agoNew Ace@Isamu99 This years game is a lot easier than the last 2 yeh.

The F1 2023 Game AI Difficulty Comparison doesn't make much sense. It's what it is for him and highlights the track he is good at, not necessarily AI's fault.
I use the same level for hungry-spain-abu dhabi-Mexico, and I arrive between 6-9 (with my nooby car in myteam with all the pilots having 100 stats due to a stupid bonus) in all of them. (And I play a fixed level of 79 for all tracks.)
I do admit on the same track, I end up making more mistakes than others. For instance, Spain is very easy, while Mexico is kind of tricky, so I can understand why he feels Mexico is harder, but I don't think the time is wrong; it is just the fact that getting the correct entry-exit curve is not so forgiving and you end up losing a lot of tiny fraction of second each curve if you make a slight mistake. (And there are a lot of curves, so ultimately, my lap has a bigger delta between a good lap and a bad lap.)
