I can easily reproduce it while driving, especially since certain races are prone to this problem. But at the same time, I learned to avoid it now; only really few curves I can count on my hands are tricky to avoid
I think there is a problem, and I think they HAVE to fix it, but I don't think it is as pronounced as you show in the video. You can learn a little to avoid it in most cases (not all), and it only happens if you have automatic gear and TC.
Plus, if you use a lot of assistance, I would not trust the setup you see online; most are NOT made with the aid in mind, and assist react in a different way than the way people drive without them. So you want a setup that facilitates assist work, not that pushes the car to an extreme because, in that case, the auto-assist will kick in before it should as it think you are doing something wrong.
Assist is an AI type of driving, so you should try to use the standard setup (that is made for AI) and add +3 or -3 in most cases (depending on your car and driving style); for instance, I see in Australia, people seem to suggest a 30-24 or something like that even 30-28, and that works probably really good if you use NO ASSIST.
But AI is driving with 14-16 (so people wonder why they go ten times faster in straight), and AI assist kind of expects you to drive something similar, so I would suggest that if you use a lot of assists, you should try a setup more similar to what ai expect! 19-21 or if you like opposite wings 20-18 or again if you want to keep peace of other cars in straight 17-18 (this is for people that say Quali is easy and race is hard)
(I personally use 19-19 with the starting car first season as I start with a Ferrari engine that is powerful but has no aero or chassis upgrade at all), and then I modify it to 18-17 when the car gets much better)
The same for all other options. DON'T fight the AI setup and go the opposite direction, totally maxed on firm or soft, while the AI is doing the opposite! Because you are using assist, the AI expects specific behavior from your car. I see a lot of setups on the internet that I try with assist and are horrible, making the car slide in the worst possible way. (as assist end up breaking too much at each slow curve due to an imbalanced car that then result in extra trouble moving out of 2nd gear)
At the same time, in Myteam, your car tire usage is already the worst possible (since your car has no updates again, the problem accentuate other car passing you on straight like you don't exist after 30% tire usage that you get much faster than them!); make a setup that is easy on the tire rather than an extreme super competitive extra pushed to single lap type of setup. Make a setup easy to drive, even if a little slower, and will solve the other problem people have that they are fast in quali and slow in race; of course, it is, you are pushing a car special setup for 1 lap, and than you are surprised that other is slower but in race obviously you pay the price of that setup!
