@Djazz98 Its in the files, the total grip of each tyre compound (defined at 0 wetness)
There is data for each compound how much relative grip of their total grip they lose at a certain amount of wear.
As i said 1% of total grip is roughly equal to 0.3s on the average track - this changes based on the characteristics of the track.
91.32% is 6.68% less than 98% (the total grip of a C5 tyre). 6.68*0.3s = 2.004s.
Just fyi the total maximum grip for all dry compounds:
C5 = 98%
C4 = 96.5%
C3 = 95%
C2 = 93.5%
C1 = 92.75%
C0 = 92%
so the C0 is 6*0.3s slower on average than a C5 for example = 1.8s

so I guess you can help me complete the Wear/Grip chart with grip for each wear percentage ? - @Djazz98 Its not correct because 98% grip is the maximum the C5 will ever have so you need to use the difference between 91.32 and 98 to calculate the difference in laptime. Thats why you take the 6.68 by 0.3s
I dont mean to be rude but im not feeling like going through the whole chart with anyone, its just nothing im interested in😅 but i will try to make you understand the equasion needed so you can do it yourself

Im also confused with track wetness and where it can be determined. I also think whatever % value for wetness I am reading doesn't match with what the wet tyre working range is when I use an app to look at weather details.

I tried to ask for wetness in UDP telemetry but I got reply that it might give unfair advantage to gamers, especially in ranked or leagues.Also, track may not have wetness per marshal zone but same for whole track (hard to say without actual data).
So this info may stay hidden. However, I guess it could be located somewhere in save file, for reloads from mid-session saves.@Im_Pando The player wont know the real wetness unless it never rained..
Dry session is always 0 wetness and as @P4st3l1ak said i do think too that wetness is for the whole track and not just partially sadly.. individual weather per marshalpost would be awesome haha
@Meza994Yeah but actually I don't think that for example, wetness value it's the same for sunny and cloudy weather. If they just pointed out on making things real, expecially with physic, I don't think that all dry sessions are set as 0 . Maybe @DavidGG53 can give us some ''large scale'' info

I agree, that's what I assumed as well, it's the water on track, not in air.
(I didn't find any humidity data in ERP files but it could be hidden somewhere).

- @DavidGG53 What about on how air and weather temperature, or different weather situation, affects cars behavior? Like for example, if track temperature it's 30° , you have to use X psi for tyres, and less it's temperature track, more you have to increase psi
- @Im_Pando Very little.. By what i was told in the last year or so by David the simulation of that behaviour is extremely limited as it takes a lot of effort + the AI wouldnt react to currently anyway, they dont even have proper tyre temp simulation so it wouldnt be worth it, track temps even have only a very small effect on tyre temps - at least that was the case last year
- @Nuvolarix I tested it - although not in the vanilla game haha and while it can take up more than two laps to reach the perfect carcass temp they will stay glued to that perfect temp no matter what sadly..

I was told AI drivers use only surface temp for tyres.
I used to enable both carcass and surface and was really struggling with tyre temps. @ScarDuck14 told me AI cheats and recommended Surface Only 😉 Apparently, C&S temp is good only for multiplayer mode.@P4st3l1ak this year should not be a problem, I mean to activate also carcass. At least from the data. I still have to check with a long run in track (for example (S) in Barcelona or Austin)
