Not sure if Im doing something wrong, but I’ve been trying out the beta over the weekend and when trying to access the playtest forum to provide bug feedback I just keep being stuck in a loop with the following message:
YOU EITHER HAVE TO LOG IN OR NEED PERMISSION TO SEE THIS PAGE.
Issue resolved. Tried another link to the play testing forums from a later email with details on the beta and now able to access the playtest forums.
The email I received for the play testing is telling me to open up the game and log into my account but when I open the game it comes up saying that the game is not linked to any account I need to check I’m logged in with steam? I am logged in with steam but do I need to wait till tomorrow morning to log into the game?
I can't access to F1 23 Playtest forum to report an issue.
Make sure you are logged in go to drop down tab go to community playtesting and if you are logged in you should see f1 23 playtest board. If you click the link from the mail it will show that picture you just shared. Hope this helps
Interesting, found it the way you suggested.
Couple of weird things:
1. When I click the link, I'm already logged in. Typically (elsewhere) then the link would/should work.
2. Is there a specific EA owned/sponsored feedback post? When I go there it's an absolute birds nest of people creating duplicate 2-3 comment threads.
I'm new to this community, maybe it will take me a while to find my way around, but if EA would like some qualitative feedback from the playtests it would be great to see something structured, maybe some templates for submitting bug reports etc.
@LemxnDrizzleCakeI feel your pain. But people don’t bother reading or searching for relevant threads to post on and just post their feedback. Posting a feedback thread is fine. But bug reports are priority… any bugs you come across please report the bug. But please take the time to use search to see if a similar bug thread has already been posted and add your report to that.
On the bug reporting board. When reporting a bug you will have a bug report template to complete.
@LemxnDrizzleCake you should also get an email to provide feedback in a more structured form at some point during the beta.
I did just that and all I see is in the screenshot I provided. I'm not really sure but I have a feeling that I still can't see everything I'm suposed to.
