Because you’re so amazing you’re probably starting on Pole 100% off the time so to you they probably seem slow.
no, i never start on pole because i like use slow cars, mclaren, haas, alpha tauri, and generally i won 3 or 4 positions in first lap, AI are so slow on first laps because the cars is together and have cars by inside, braking soon and etc

When you’re in the pack of course the cars at the back of the pack go slower, even faster cars. Because the Ai don’t just dive bomb each other or you into every corner. As IRL but at the sharp end off the grid cars will be faster,
You’re gaining places because we can exploit the Ai not being as aggressive as us. First lap I can always get double overtakes into slow corners no problem. We all do that. But for the first few laps the Ai push.
In Irl it’s the reason many times cars shunt another car up the backside when braking into tight corners as they don’t properly anticipate the cars in front being as slow as they thin due to not being able to see what the cars further upfront are doing I’m not just talking F1 as it happens in virtually all race series
- thiago_ssj3 years agoNew Adventurer@ScarDuck14 so, like i say before, no problem, AI are slower on start and first laps because anothers cars together, and first position cars still little slow but not so much like in middle positions
all fine in the game, maybe more add AI agression to try do AI little faster on first lap will be great- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend
The Ai pace is faster because they are pushing just like they do IRL. But they can only go as fast as the cars infront allow them to. Max will go slower on first lap if he starts at the back end off the grid because he’s held up by slower cars. If he starts on pole there’s no catching him if he’s infront after the first corner.

Considering he was on hards vs AI on softs his cornering speed must have been way better so possibly just use a lower downforce setup? We have seen Red Bull compromise their car setup in 2021 a couple of times to not be too slow on the straights vs Merc so IF it was just that it would be realistic but i dont feel like going through the broken career mode to test this😂
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@Meza994 Ai are slow in corners during career. Same as last year. Typical codies slowing them down to much after everyone complained they were too fast in 21. Which I actually thought they were just about right except for the odd corner. But I made up time elsewhere on track.

@ScarDuck14i see now the jarno video, just riddiculous, he made a mistake on first corner breaking too late trying dive a bomb in perez when him already making the corner, don´t used ers on straight and obviously lose positions without him, and later can´t have sufficient space with one car back of distance by leclerc and does a suicide dive bomb

@thiago_ssj So him actually saying he feels like he’s driving a lower class car compared to the Ai. He’s currently running away with the WOR league series which also includes the current world E-Sports champion. But you think you know better… Dude sign up to E-Sports you’ll be next world champion in no time
