Esports!
The 1st race was today and was alot better than I thought it would be.
Bahrain on the 15th.
For those who might want to know.

It definitely was better. I think adding Marcel onto the commentary team was a much needed addition. Having someone with a long history in the esports scene is a good look.
@Cpayne32 Copying me again 😜
Dont normally watch E-Sports. Other than a few drivers pov vids. But @Blackbird90 mentioned it last night on WhatsApp, and not having anything else doing. I decided to put it on. Was glad I did a really good fun race. 40k viewers was also more than i expected.
Actually watching China qualifying as I type.
Looking at the quali lap of Ismael Fahssi and how he (and the others) take turn 14 in Shanghai is a visual proof, that the physics is ridiculously off....this should not be faster than life-like driving:

@seichrotiererSim racing is always faster than real racing. Get away with far more in a game than you can in real life. No Fear off injury or death etc etc
Another good Race at China despite the graphical glitches 🙄🫣
Think there's another today
Fahssi is showing signs of Maturity to go with his talent....might be a Williams year if he can keep it up!
Ronharr is too aggressive at the wrong times...if he doesn't put a lid on it his chances for the title are slim.
Puki is the wildcard but history says bad races are ahead for 1st year competitors but he is quick.
Jarno is experienced but his qualifying could be his downfall.
Freddie and Lucas both have too much going on outside of F1 24 so we are not seeing their best.
Bari and Lounget both are on/off drivers, when they are on Nobody else is going to win but when their off🤔
Sorry for the misspelled name.
Just my simple observations and opinions.
Biggest crash in E-Sports history..... 5 car pile up. Arguably Ronhaar was the cause.
Just glad to see Jake Benham back behind the wheel and finishing 3rd.
Well done Otis on his first win

@Nellix82Also remember they are playing a different game than we are...the only way they get equal cars.
In League Races they have to use F1 World cars.
Don't know what else is different but wouldn't be surprised by anything.
They are running the game build with slightly more dirty air effect compared to regular game, but as Jarno mentioned it is still not enough to substantionally affect the car behind.
