Ever since today’s update the controller feels much slower compared to the wheel. The patch should help pad players with consistency I think but it made it worse. The car is very understeery, it doesn’t bite into corners and the grip is horrendously bad. I cannot touch almost any curbs without getting the car sideways. Personally I liked the second first handling patch much better since the game was more fun and the car felt great to control but now I just can’t keep up with wheel players that were equal or even slower than me in the previous patches. Notice how the car now autosteers mid-corner turn 3 losing me a ton of time, this was not in the previous 1.6 patch when pushing to the limit, we have more control and precision.@EA_Vendcera @EA_Groguet we got to revert the controller handling back to how it was in 1.6, we could compete with wheel players and now they fly off into the distance because the steering is now less precise.
We could glide the car into the corners now it feels a lot more understeery and clunky.
From what I've seen the casual controller players don't feel any difference but many who always push to the limit feel held back, I'm a solid 5-tenths slower at Japan than 1.6 whilst pushing harder.
