Never have I ever felt so ripped off on a F1 series like I feel with this game. F1 world is garbage. You guys are not consistent with week to week races, barely updated. It's almost as if you guys have abandoned this game and I'm asking if you've abandoned it and already on next years title, please give me my money back, or I can promise I will not fall victim to this garbage come June 2025. The content in F1 world is far and few between, race against AI and they literally just follow each other, all with the same livery. It's worst than F12023 and I thought that was bad. This is it for me. I knew the minute EA took over, that this is what would happen to this title and it's a shame. Cause it could be something special, but it's not. Anyone else feel this way with F124? Please tell me I'm not alone with these thoughts.

@milky669You're definitely not alone. F124 is extremely poor compared to F121 and F123. I wasn't a fan of F122 which I thought was terrible, but still better than F124!
There are so many fundamentals they have got so wrong in this year's game. From the ground up they have made a complete and utter hash of it.
The only thing I enjoy in the game are wet races, the handling in the wet feels spot on, excellent. They have basically stripped the game bare, destroyed handling for controller players, decimated the store, created rubbish AI , TV replay sounds albeit sound great do not match the visuals, invisible bumps within some tracks, AI that have the same impossible acceleration out of the corners same as F122 and barge into you at race starts and lock wheels again same as F122.
Without doubt there is a common trend here. The team who made F122 also made F124. In future I honestly wouldn't bother, as in my opinion the other team who developed both F121 and F123 are miles ahead. That's why I'm more hopeful for F125.
EA are fixated on prioritising gimmicks and unrealistic content and it's simply not working. The sooner the better they realise this it will benefit everyone.
All we want as F1 fans is a game that actually represents F1 in real life. Not F1 world, not Fanzone (utterly pointless and a waste of time), no endless pairs of headphones and Puma shoes.
Make the handling suitable for all players.
Improve the AI.
Improve the sounds to match the visuals.
Improve the weather system.
Improve engineer chat.
Put in a helmet editor.
And for the love of god, test the damn thing for ridiculous bugs before release.- 3 months ago@IanM282 I fully agree with this proposal. I even don´t know what kind of game I´m playing. So many pointless "gimmicks" inside the game - totally pointless. Moreover: this kind of unrealistic content makes the overall gaming experience even worse not only from the player point of view, but also from the development focus and future patches and fixes.
Bring back the old F1 game design from the Geoff Crammond´s era. What we actually need is quite simple:
- online time trials
- online and offline customisable racing (week-end scenario)
- online and offline championship
- free run (where you can test everything without the outside pressures - even pit-stops, strategies and tactics, dry and wet setups, etc...)
That´s it. Very simple, but fully functional F1 gaming environment where the core of the F1 gameplay represents simple, but fully working environment for anyone.
Don´t get me wrong, I do not complain, I like the overall track design - it´s been significantly improved over time - I like it very much. Handling is fair enough even for players they prefer wheel and pedals - it´s good. I like the customisable camera setting - especially from the cockpit view - perfect! The sound was not bad at all, but now, after the last patch, the Ferrari engine is totally useless.
Look at the present EA WRC game - it´s been drastically improved over time and now, it´s amazing piece of software, it really is the best rally game on the market now, hence the F1 game is going the wrong way and the devs do not know how to get out of this neverending mess.
Please respect the loyal fanbase, focus on core gaming elements, improve the game accordingly and think twice before the next F1 release, because this one is really very bad indeed, almost unplayable at this stage.- IanM2823 months agoSeasoned Ace@ruksak Agreed, what Geoff Crammond did back in the day was simple but effective and worked with the absolute main priority being focused on F1 racing and not gimmicks.
I played GP2, GP3 and the final series GP4. Way ahead of their time. A friend of mine said as soon as EA took over the game would go rapidly downhill and he was not wrong.
Pointless unrealistic drivel does not belong in any F1 game.
- 3 months ago@IanM282 Thats interesting because I have a total opposite opinion.
Because of all the bugs I bought the game a few weeks ago after a lot of patches.
I am very happy with the handling. I am experienced with a lot F1 games since F1 2012.
The handling is comprehensive, less understeery. The ai is way less aggressive than 2022! More fair when driving on in-Out laps.
And on top the decision about the career mode changes were great. This mode is much deeper and gives so much more opportunities to experience several seasons.
But I have to say me and my buddy drive only coop mode (50%) with driver assists with wheels. By the way: it seems games without assists are much less satisfied with the game than gamers with assists.
But I totally agree that reducing customization makes this overall totally unnecessary.- 3 months ago
The handling was great when it was released, so many content creators and F1 drivers liked it very much. I don't know why they even touched it. The different traction control settings were also right. Now it's too controller-heavy. As a steering wheel user, you have disadvantages. In all F1 games since F1 2019, everyone in our league was faster with the medium traction control than with the full. One managed to drive without it at all, all the others have now switched on the full and only switch to the medium when it rains. The differences are that serious.

Thanks man. I couldn't agree with what you said. And you're right, give it up with these gimmicks. Like Fanzone (what is that? A joke) Couldn't care one bit, F1 world to me, has potential to be good. But, not what it is with 24. At least with 23 there was a ton of content and it just kept coming and coming. The AI all had different liveries, etc. I literally have nothing in 24 to race, except build my career. I truly don't want to give EA sports a penny more, but I'm sure I'll fall victim to F125 when the time comes. Here's to hoping they make it right with that. The silence is infuriating from EA with all these complaints.

I can assure you that while it may seem like there is silence, every single comment is being read by the team
