Its a shame
To be sure the devs are actually taking into account what is being posted here, we will have to wait for the next game. My hopes, and probably everyone else, is that we have SOME features and improvements next game.
To add some salt into the wound, I would like to remember everyone that in 2026 the cars will, once again, be different. So I'm not sure how that can influence the development of F1 25. Before 2014, F1 2013 was a good game for the time. And then F1 14 and 15 were made.
Before 22, F1 2020 was one of the best of the franchise, and 21 was still quite good. But F1 22 was made.
The only thing we can do, is wait.

I’m going to say some nice things now, Xbox X solo career. After 1.14 it seems like the wet traction with full TC and ABS is better. No idea if they tweaked it or not but in lighter rain (inters) that starts during the race the game seems improved.
I find that wet is usually a problem for less skilled players and if they tweaked something they did it well. No idea if full wet racing is better, I was hopeless in it and would love an option to restart session and simulate rather than race in it.
Better yet let me either turn the wet off or if using full assists and you have the right tire then you have the right pace.
BTW for 50% races the perfect wether accuracy is about as good as our local weatherman.
Also the racing has been very good, again small sample size but the AI has been tough but fair and the DRS trains at 50% distance have broken up.
Career is a fun experience now.
I like the speed of podium pass now but it did stay around a bit too long and too much of it is useless to someone like me who does not like F1 World or on line racing.
Now just get My Team to be as good as career and allow me to turn off weather effects if I want and provide better player liveries and helmets and I’ll be a reasonably happy camper.
And if weather can’t be switched off, give us the option to sim qualifying as well as races for those of us to hapless to manage the wet.

My wishes for a real F1 game:
Provide a real sim mode with full control in the pit lane, like the real F1. Realistic or at least believable handling would also be an advantage. The approach was at least there for steering wheels at release.
Make the sound in the replay like it used to be, let the actual revs be heard instead of these completely off-sounding samples.
Put telemetry back in the garage, it was already there in the GP series, even in EA Sports.
Make the rain recognizable as such again when driving. It should be a hindrance and not just a visual gimmick. But then please also make it physically correct.
Just build a decent base game and feed it with DLC, such as the current season or classics, with the appropriate tracks and vehicles, instead of offering a rehash of an old engine with constantly new or old bugs at full price every year. At some point, this drop will be sucked and this year is the year.
Brings back rain in the time trial. I don't know why the opinion exists that nobody wants this.

When using full traction control in full rain on fullwets, traction is not good enough to keep pace with the AI.
When calibrating the AI someone needs to go track by track with each weather condition and make sure players who use assists stay competitive.
Right now the inconsistency of the AI settings is my biggest peeve. I get it is time consuming, and honestly I am willing to do it for you, but it needs to be done in Career and My Team.
