Connection lost when switching to Friends tab in Leaderboards (Steam – F1 25)

Description:

I am experiencing a consistent connection issue when accessing the Friends tab in the Time Trial Leaderboards.

I can play online races without any problems and I can also view the Global Leaderboards normally. However, as soon as I switch to the Friends tab in the leaderboard, the game immediately loses connection to the online services. After that, all online functionality becomes unavailable until I restart.

The issue only occurs on tracks where my friends have already set lap times. For example, “Netherlands (Reverse)” works fine because none of my friends have driven that layout. But on tracks where friends have posted times, switching to the Friends tab causes the connection to drop instantly.

This issue is 100% reproducible.

Steps to reproduce:

*Launch the game (Steam version).

*Go to Time Trial.

*Open the Leaderboards.

*Switch from Global to Friends tab.

*If friends have lap times on that track, the game loses connection and online services stop working.

Expected result:

The Friends leaderboard should load normally without affecting the online connection.

Actual result:

The game disconnects from online services and all online features become unavailable.
