Problem connecting the controller to the EA FC 25

Hello, I have an XBOX controller and I have always used it. By some chance after the latest EA FC 25 update, I can't play anymore. The game starts normally as if I were playing with the keyboard. When I press any button on the controller, the game simply crashes/freezes. Can anyone help?
