Please, don’t repeat the same mistakes in FC 26.
FC 25 at launch had something great. Slower pace. Realistic flow. Balanced gameplay. Defenders reacted. CDMs dropped back and filled space. You could choose how to play. Build up. Counterattack. Possession. Everything worked. Low rated squads could compete. It felt like football.
Then, as usual, you patched it all away. You listened to the loudest voices. Streamers asking for speed, flashy plays, chaos. You turned it into an arcade mess. The pace skyrocketed, defending broke down, and the meta became brainless sprint spam with zero tactical depth.
This cycle has to stop. You already have the tools. The tech. The feedback. What you don’t have is the will to trust the majority of your players, who actually enjoy the balanced, slower, more tactical gameplay that exists during launch.
We’re not asking for a full on simulator. Just a proper middle ground. One where football feels like football, not a pinball machine.
Let players play their way. Don’t force one meta. Keep the overall ratings lower throughout the cycle. Let defense work. Let the game breathe.
Pro Clubs is unplayable in 11 vs 11. The pitch feels too small, players too fast, and pressure non-stop. Stats are out of control. There’s no football, just stress.
You had it right in the beginning. Stick to that. For once, ignore the noise and listen to what’s actually working.
Please. Don’t waste FC 26 like you did with this one.
