HELPPPPPP

I got a free gold pack from another pack but every time I go to use it I get a message saying that my connection to the Ultimate Team servers is down and the pack is unavailable. I tried everything on both PC and companion but it still won't work. Please help, I don't care about the crappy gold pack I just want to open other packs
