[URGENT] Slow motion / FPS drop at halftime (PC) — EA FC 26

Summary:
On my PC, EA FC 26 runs perfectly fine during the first half, but **right at halftime** (when the cutscenes/highlights are shown) the game suddenly drops to slow motion or 4–10 FPS. Commentary and audio remain normal. I have tried DX11, disabling motion blur, disabling dynamic resolution, and editing overrideAutodetect.lua without success.

My system:
- CPU: Intel i7 13th gen
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3050
- RAM: 16 GB
- Display: 1920x1080 144Hz
- Platform: EA App

What I have already tried:
- Forcing `-dx11` (launch options)
- Editing `overrideAutodetect.lua` (StrandBasedHair=0, MotionBlur=0, DynamicResolution=0) and setting it to read-only
- Disabling dynamic resolution and motion blur in-game
- Repairing/verifying game files via EA App
- Disabling all overlays (NVIDIA, Discord, Xbox Game Bar, EA overlay)
- Alt+Enter / Alt+Tab / switching to borderless windowed
- Clean reinstall of NVIDIA drivers (using clean install option)
- Setting Windows power plan to High performance.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start any match (offline or online).
2. Play until halftime.
3. Let the halftime cutscene/load screen play.
4. When the second half begins, the gameplay is extremely slow (almost unplayable), but audio/commentary is unaffected.

Please escalate this bug to the Frostbite/QA team: it is reproducible and has a severe impact on gameplay. Thank you.

I’m experiencing the same issue on my system. Occasionally, after using Alt+Tab, the game will suddenly drop to extremely low FPS or go into a sort of “slow motion” mode. It doesn’t happen every single time, but when it does, the performance drop is severe and makes the game almost unplayable. Audio and commentary continue normally while the visuals slow down, exactly like described in the original post.

This issue isn’t limited to halftime - it can happen at any point during the match, including the second half. I haven’t found any reliable way to trigger or fix it once it starts, and the only workaround so far is to restart the match or the game entirely.

    My system:

    CPU: Intel i5-14600KF
    GPU: AMD RX 7600
    RAM: 32 GB
    Display: 1920×1080 @ 164 Hz
    Platform: PC

  • Its a very common bug on pc. Many people have reported the same problem(so do i) but no answer, no changes.

EA just dont give a 4k for pc players. I already accept that
