Controller doesnt work on rivals HELP

My new controller doesnt work in Rivals but works everywhere else. I can play RUSH, moments, SB, but i cannot play rivals because i cant move my players or pass a ball. I tried to reset everything couple times doesnt work i even put game on steam and disabled input and still i cant play normal in rivals. Does anyone know what to do in this situation PLEASE HELP
