Transfer Market – Suspected Automated Bidding on Hunter Chemistry Styles

Hi everyone and EA Community Team,

I would like to report a serious issue I have been noticing on the Transfer Market for several weeks, especially with Hunter Chemistry Styles.

When I place a low bid, for example around 150 coins, I am often outbid within a very short time. What makes this particularly suspicious is that the price does not increase gradually. Instead, it repeatedly jumps straight to the exact same amount.

I do not remember the exact figure right now — it was around 3,400 or 3,500 coins — but the important point is that the amount is repeatedly identical.

For example, I can place bids on around ten different Hunter Chemistry Styles one after another within a short period of time. Then, shortly afterwards, I get the same result on all of them: “You were outbid”, “You were outbid”, “You were outbid” — one after another, almost like dominoes. When I check the auctions, they have all jumped to the same price.

I have tested this repeatedly, and the same pattern keeps happening. It is not something I have only seen once or on a single day. I have been noticing this behaviour consistently for several weeks.

The speed, repetition and identical bidding amounts make this look very unusual and strongly suggest automated bidding rather than normal individual player behaviour.

Because of this, regular players have almost no realistic chance of winning these auctions at a lower price. If automated scripts or bots are involved, they may be heavily affecting these auctions and the Transfer Market.

Could the EA team please investigate this specific bidding pattern, including possible automated activity through the Web App or Companion App?
