Player Franchise Mode Online

EA, 

Why was the Player Franchise Mode taken away? I know there's Superstar mode now, but it's not the same. We used to be able to have 5 or 6 different users playing in the same online franchise league and all of us would create a character to play on different teams and different positions. The task of seeing who would win MVP at the end of the season was great.
