Can’t recover fumbles

Playing superstar as an EDGE. Three straight games I have recovered a fumble and Madden completely freezes and just zooms out on the refs huddling and nothing happens even if I call a timeout so I have to quit the game and lose all progress. Any fumble I get, I have to reset the game. Please fix this, it simply should not be an issue.
