Spamming Plays & Terrible Offense

I'm all for a challenge. But playing cornerback in all Madden is very similar to CFB on Heisman. The offense will rarely score and it's frustrating. Then on defense, I'm forced to be the one who baits and scores or forces a turnover. But if the turnover isn't beyond the 50-yard line, I almost immediately get the ball back, usually in worse field position than my original turnover. At least have them go 4 and out and out during the simulations. 

Currently I'm playing the Lions, and they are spamming the same screen and now I know the formation and I'm getting easy pick-6s. Like I want to feel like there's some kind of coach decision on offense. It's like they are doing 3 plays.
