Weekly training abilities

Anybody else having issues with the weekly training abilities? Every time I remove an ability and try to add another it keeps telling me that I need to remove an ability to add another but I have open spots. It’s really disappointing since I just finished the draft and would like to boost my rookies as much as possible before the start of season 2. Anybody know how to fix it or if it’s entirely in EA’s hands?
