Clicking Za'Darius Smith card causes 'Servers cannot process request' error

Every time I attempt to click on or interact with the Most Feared Za'Darius Smith player card in my Madden Ultimate Team inventory, the game instantly kicks me out and throws the error message stating, "Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later." The crash only triggers when interacting specifically with his card, completely blocking me from changing his evo, looking at his stats, or getting my +1 speed to my other most feared promo players. standard troubleshooting methods like making a new lineup, clearing the evos (which i cant do, due to not being able to click o nthe card with out being removed), clearing the system cache, and using the companion app have failed to fix the loop.
