Coin wiped for playing the game.
My account had over 2 million coins wiped last night due to recieving a warning for coin distribution. I was buying and selling MF 82's & 84's within the active market prices. Earlier in the day I sold over 25 82 team builder cards I had built through sets in the weeks leading up to the most recent team builders release. I sold these cards within the active market prices as well. Both groups of cards never exceeded the maximum price allowed by ea for selling cards by overall rating.
I've played the game for over 30 years. I don't play competitively, or online much. There's no need for me to cheat the system for players. I enjoy playing cpu solos and events while team building and playing the auction house to earn cards and coins. I've spent literally thousands of dollars doing this year and over the years and after today I'll no longer purchase any in-game content from an EA title. I'm going to cancel my MVP+ membership will not purchase any new title EA releases going forward.
I would never consider cheating another player, or the company itself through 3rd parties or coin distributors. I'm not technically savvy enough to create code or programs to circumvent the system or violate community rules. I filed a sincere appeal and was denied. I am currently awaiting response to my second appeal.
Buy and play this game at your own risk. If you're comfortable with a parent company reaching into your account and removing content that you paid for with your own hard earned money through their points system, then so be it. I refuse to engage in that type of activity and will not do business with a company that accuses me of cheating without providing solid evidence of how they came to that conclusion.
GK455 Hey,
That is a long time to be playing a single game, and then getting coin-wiped like that stings quite a bit. We understand it happens, and it may be something that was not intentional or, in fact, a false positive, but that is a determination that is made through the Terms of Service and not by us. The forums is fine for venting and all, but no one here can even review that account to see what happened. What you would need to do is file an appeal and discuss it with them : Steps To Appeal Coin Wipe
As for the forums, we are not live support, nor TOS so, sadly, this is a situation where we cannot assist as it is not a role we take with those coin wipes.
If you have already filed one, and they gave an answer, you can do so again, but it would be up to them to make any decision on returning those coins.
