Mass Effect 1 (Legendary Edition) lagging after 1 hour of Playtime

Hey, so my PC should be more than capable of running Mass Effect 1.. and its working perfectly fine, for about 1 hour. Then, EVERYTIME, it slowly starts reducing FPS + Sound Glitches and dropouts.  ...

Yes, 44% when the lagging starts.. so I guess thats not the problem.

    Probably not, VRam is also good?  Any background programs or services acting out?

      @holger1405 Yes, I tracked everything with HW Monitor.. maximum RAM and VRam Usage was like 40%.. processor and graphic card usage 40% maximum as well.. like you would expect from a good computer to handle an "old" game.. but still I got those lags starting every time after exactly 1 hour
