Mass effect legendary ME1 gpu when alt tabbed
Mass effect 1 legendary edition consumes 100% gpu when alt tabbed without going to the in game pause menu first.
In the attached screenshot you can see it on the right, i alt tabbed while not being in the pause menu and the GPU shoots up to 100% usage, that literally makes your pc crash if you do anything else on top of it. On the left you can see a proper gpu usagage when alt tabbing the game while it is in the pause menu.

Thank you for your understanding and patience regarding this issue so far.
First off, a big thank you to TheRipperG for finding the broken path in the registry key!
You can resolve this issue by
- deinstalling the game entirely and then run CCleaner, as specified here: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-use-ccleaner-to-fix-pc-issues/
- Afterwards, reinstall the game via Origin.
If you know your way around the registry well, you could also follow TheRippgerG's advice directly, as specified in his posts on this page (or just click his post to give him some XP).
From our testing, this should resolve the issue for everyone affected.
However, should there still be anyone experiencing issues afterwards, we would ask you to specify what steps you have tried so far and then create a new reply with your Origin Error Report ID as described over here.
